Cultivating Calm (Mindfulness) Class
If you find yourself struggling with increasing levels of anxiety when things feel out of your control, I want to offer you hope and solutions to bring calm into your future. While you can’t escape the stress of the fast paced modern life, you can learn practical techniques to refocus your attention and “cultivate calm” in your inner world. I have helped many clients cultivate calm in their own lives through my creative approach to traditional anxiety-reducing practices. In “Cultivating Calm” sessions, you will have the opportunity to try out a variety of tips and techniques. Each session will include guided practices to focus on your senses, notice your thoughts, move while focusing on your body and breathe while counting. You are invited to try them during the session, and then continue practicing the ones that seem most helpful to you.
Thrivership Practice
Thrivership blends together physical therapy, health coaching, mindfulness and spirituality. Each session's focus varies to meet your specific needs or goals. Typically, session will begin with a grounding practice, to help us focus on what your body, mind, and spirit need. We will reflect on action steps from the previous session, successes, setbacks or procrastinations. We will decide together how to spend the hour session. We end with action items for the future.
